Virginie’s internship started a month ago. Its purpose is to estimate tissue elasticity during robotic needle insertion thanks to a force sensor. To do this, she disposes of a sensor with 1 degree of freedom and a multi-layer gel modeling the skin, fat, muscle and liver of a patient. She positioned the sensor between the robot and the needle and began to acquire data.
